Can’t re order songs on playlist

My Question or Issue

Hi I can't Re order songs on play list, I used to be able to but now it just deletes the songs ,I click on the top 3 dots rhs then edit playlist and all I get is the attached ?

can anyone help?

Hey @Jlee5, welcome to the Community.

Hope you're doing great!

You can only do that if you're not using any filters for that filters.

Just select Custom in the filters menu by swipping down in that playlist to reveal it.

I'm having the same issue as JLee5, and the advice to turn off Playlists Filters did not resolve the issue.

This is a recent development from the new version (8.5.26) I installed a week ago. I'm unable to reorder songs in my playlists from my iPhone. When I select 'Edit' the only editing available is to delete songs.

Is this problem being looked into? Please advise on how this is being handled and if you have any suggestions on how I may resolve this on my end.

I tried deleting the app then re install but still the same I went on pc and changed playlist order ,I then opened up the app and songs had been re ordered
I thought I would try again so I opened up and whilst there were no colours on the tab I pressed the RHS Where 3 white lines had suddenly appeared!!!!and held it and it let me move the songs into a different order! Very strange
