Local Files not showing up in Spotify App

My Question or Issue

I have imported audio files (.mp3 and .flac) into the "Spotify" file in the ios File app. The audio files can be played correctly outside of the Spotify app. However, there is no "Local Files" file in the Spotify app. All settings for both the Spotify app and the ios phone itself are correct. I have tried restarting the phone, and did a clean reinstall of Spotify. Still nothing. What to do?

I have also tried selecting only "Playlist" in the "Your library" of the Spotify app. Still nothing.

Since the process to add Local files has recently changed, to make sure we're on the same page, did you use the process mentioned in the iOS section of this article? 

Also, if the issue persists, could you record a short video where we can take a better look? You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert Video option in the post editor. You can also upload it to YouTube or Google Drive and share the link with us (make sure the video has the permissions for anyone to watch it).

Lastly,  include in your next response the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating the case.

Thanks for the reply!

In addition to toggling on Show audio files from this device, could you check if Spotify is allowed to access Media & Apple Music in your iPhone's Settings > Privacy & Security? In case the issue persists, try rebooting your phone to resync the settings with the app.

If possible, try uploading some .mp3s in the Spotify folder on your iPhone to see if they'd show up in the app.
