Local files greyed out, despite being synced for offline.

Local files greyed out, despite being synced for offline.

Alright so like the thread title says, some of my local files (not all of them) are greyed out despite the fact that the green arrow for offline play is there. There's nothing I can do to force it to sync so I can play it on my iPhone, except for deleting Spotify and then re-installing it again. Removing offline mode and re-enabling it doesn't help, and it happens at pure random. Some songs even come back and are playable, but then some other songs are greyed out.

Any solutions to this?

Hey,

Just wondering if you could give a little bit more information. Like what devices this happens on. You mentioned something about an iPhone. Do you have this problem on other decices?

What's a Spotify Rock Star, and how do I become one?

Sorry for the trouble!

There is currently a bug inside of the iOS app that causes the local files to sometimes unsync.

It is likely this bug that is causing you to have problems.

The developers are currently investigating this and hopefully it will be fixed in a future update.

Like you mentioned, to temporarily solve this problem, you can reinstall the app and resync the local files.

Any fix for this yet? I'm having the same problem with songs not syncing.
