Hello!

Check if the switch for making your playlist available for offline on.

To verify if the songs are still downloaded, activate offline mode and try to play a song.

If the songs were indeed deleted, I'm afraid that you will need to download them again.

Just make sure you have enough storage available to download because Spotify will stop downloading songs when the device you are using has a small available storage. (sometimes even if you have 500MB-1GB available)

The software update shouldn't be a problem.

Maybe it was just a bug.

Hope this helps! ♫

My offline switch is on. But every arrow is still grey. Nothing is deleted just all arrows switched from green to grey. Does this mean i am just going to have to run through playing my entire list again to make all available offline? I may have hit a clear filters button too prior. Would that have any affect on it? Lmk

Hmm... That doesn't sound correct.

Maybe it's very simple, but have you tried closing the app and its process and then restarting your device?

Restarted my iphone and still all grey arrows by the songs. I will just go through the syncing process again. Just to be clear, i need to play the songs while i am on the wifi in order for them to turn green and be able to be played offline, correct? Thanks for the help

No, you just need to turn the switch for offline usage.
No need to play the song.

I have a similar problem but also I have the problem that the memory Space used by songs not any more available is still occupied.
So I have now about 10 songs I va play offline but 1GB Space occupied.
IS it possible to recover that songs, that are phisically still in my Phone, or I have to reset all?
Thank you.

Well this problem is NOT Solved at all! I have the same issue and your explanation is simply insufficient. Now I am forced to stream as I listen away from WiFi and be charged with data traffic all over again. Spotify get serious!

A delay in paying your bill will make this happen 😞

I accidentally deleted the app of my iPhone 6. I lost all my music and I want to know how to get back 2,500 songs?

Yeah, not solved at all. This just happened to me after meticulously downloading all the specific songs I wanted. As a premium member, this shouldn't happen. ?%#+ing annoying.

This happens all the time on my iphone 5s
If the phone is turned off, all songs needs to be re-synced when I turn it back on.

This is ridiculous... I've spent ages downloading all my music and I pay a subscription fee for the privilege.
And because I use a mobile broad band service I only have limited data, whos going to pay for my data usage to download everything again? Ontop of paying a subscription fee to you lot!?

Everything is still downloaded and available off line on my laptop, but my can't even see what music was available off line on my phone - not like it has the downloaded arrow but greyed out, it just all looks like it was never downloaded. Is there any way of syncing my phone with my laptop with rinsing my data?

Same here... on iOS and MacOS. I have a premium subscription and I lose the "Download" flag on my playlists every few weeks and have to remark and download them. Not cool.

This just happened to me as well. All of my playlists were removed from offline availability and I had to redownload every single song. It happened when i switched offline mode off to search for a song and then I noticed that none of my previously offline available were 'downloaded'. What the **bleep** Spotify? If it really is 'just a bug' it's the most annoying one imaginable. I cannot be sitting around waiting to redownload every song i already downloaded and got removed for no reason.

Same problem here, no downloads available yet my iPhone 6 Plus is saying Spotify is using nearly 3 gig of data for my downloads. I'm really not happy with this, Spotify can we have a response on this please? As premium family subscriber this is not sitting comfortable with me!

I have experienced this issue twice now. Twice I have prepared for a flight, confirmed all my playlists were available offline, then gotten on the airplane and discovered all my offline songs are greyed out. Twice I have had nothing to listen to on the airplane. The two incidents were at least a year apart, so this bug has been happening for years. This is unacceptable. The whole point of premium Spotify is to have your music on the go.

After a Spotify update i have the same issue on my Huawei P10, Android 7.0
All playlists are grey. On the storage is more than 10gb available space, the com.spotify... folder is 4gb, also i have my songs downloaded on SD card, but the program can't syncronising.

I forgot about tis bug. I was on Tidal for a few months and didn't have this issue, back to Spotify mainly for the discover feature, but between the lower quality stream and this bug I may just switch back to Tidal after all, ugh. This has been a bug for months...**bleep**?

So my MacBook on which all my songs that I personally downloaded to my iPhone was destroyed. I logged in on ANOTHER computer, and created a NEW playlist and only signaled it to download songs from THAT new playlist. That way, I figured that the songs that I downloaded from my MacBook wouldn't be affected.

Only now, all of the songs I downloaded from my Mac are now missing from my iPhone. It still shows I have the same number of songs though (see attachment)- advice please?
