Hi @Danmay88, thanks for reaching out!

When we upgrade from a Free plan to a Premium one, we keep all our playlists and preferences. So this shouldn't have happened. Have you lost all your playlists or just one?

Anyway, you can try to get it back immediately by using the playlist recovery feature, or:

  1. Log in to your account page
  2. Click Recover playlists in the menu on the left.
  3. Click RESTORE by the playlist you want to recover
  4. Open Spotify and find the restored playlist at the bottom of your playlist collection

Tip: You can also use keyboard shortcuts to immediately undo something you deleted:

  • Cmd+Z (for Mac)
  • Ctrl+Shift+Z (for Windows)

Let me know if it helps!

Hey

Thanks for getting back to me.

It's actually my wife's account. But she didn't delethiste anything, and when using the link it doesn't show any deleted/recoverable playlists.

Is there anything that could cause ?

Hey @Danmay88

That's odd. Any deleted playlist is recoverable through that link.

I guess your wife might have a second Spotify account, and the playlist could be there. Here are the steps to find it out:

1. Check your email addresses

  • Enter any email addresses you use into our password reset form. If there's an account associated with it, Spotify will let you know in your email inbox. Tip: you can look for an email with the subject “Reset your password” and then follow the steps to recover your account.
  • Check your email inboxes, including any spam or junk folders, for emails from Spotify. If you have any, it’s likely there’s an account associated with that email address.

Once you've checked your email addresses and found any of the above, you can use that email address to log in.

If you aren't sure of your account's password, continue to reset the account’s password, then use that email address and the new password to log in.

2. Check Facebook

It's also possible to register for a Spotify account using your Facebook credentials. To check if you have a Spotify account connected to Facebook:

  1. Log into Facebook and select Settings on the dropdown in the top-right.
  2. Choose Apps and Websites.
  3. If you see the Spotify icon, you have a Spotify account connected to Facebook.

If you find Spotify listed in your apps, you can access that Spotify account by choosing LOG IN WITH FACEBOOK in the login page.

If you'd like to go on using Spotify without Facebook or have deactivated Facebook, I'd suggest taking a look at this Spotify Answer for more info.

Keep in mind that you can also sign up for Spotify using a phone number, Apple, or Google. Try logging in to the account page with these options.

3. Check for info on your device

If you’ve used the Spotify app on a Windows or Mac desktop or an Android mobile device, you can find your username with information stored on your device.

Once you've located your account's username, you can follow the steps here to access it again.

Hope this is more helpful!

Hi thanks for getting back to me

The only account she has is the one that she is signed in with now.

It was the one she made the playlist with and then was added to my premium account.

So those solutions are not really helpful as it's the same email, not used Facebook and it's on an iPhone.

What else could the solution be?

Does anyone else have any other solutions?

I've recently renewed my subscription but in the process lost many of my songs in playlist as well as my libraries on my android phone. I tried to recover but the response: 'You haven't deleted any playlist'
