Playing Liked Songs on an Apple Watch with Family Plan

Playing Liked Songs on an Apple Watch with Family Plan

I’m having issues playing my Liked Songs from my Apple Watch (Series 6) when I don’t have my iPhone 12 (iOS 16.3) with me.

I’m on a Family plan (sub account and wife is the account owner) and can play my playlists, albums, etc. however when I try to play my liked songs, it always plays her liked songs.

I’ve reinstalled on the Apple Watch and iPhone with no luck. Anyone have this issue?

Hey @Kozmo007,

Thanks for reaching out.

If you're sure you're logged in your own account and this doesn't happen with any of your other playlists, please try these steps:

  1. Force close and restart the app on your Watch. To do that you'd need to press the Side button once > scroll and find Spotify app > swipe from right-to-left on to close it and then tap on Remove [X] to confirm.
  2. Reboot your Watch.

Case A) if your watch is still responding - try standard reboot with these steps:

  1. Hold the Side button for a few seconds
  2. Tap on Power off icon and then slide to Power Off the watch.
  3. After a few seconds, press the Side button to turn the Apple watch back on.

Case B) if your watch is not responding - try forced restart with these steps:

  1. Press and hold down the Side button and the Digital Crown at the same time until the watch powers off and then displays the Apple logo.
  2. The Watch will start after a few seconds.

Let us know how it goes.
