Podcast will only play the latest episode on IPhone XR

Hi,

I have Spotify Premium on Iphone XR.

I am trying to listed to shagged, married, annoyed and haven't listened for a while so wanted to carry on listening episode 45.

It doesn't matter which episode I select, it plays the one from Jan 2021, even though it shows on screen it is showing episode 45.

I have tried multiple episodes but it continues to just play the latest episode.

I have checked I have the latest version of Spotify and my iphone is on the latest version (iOS 14.3)

Can anyone advise how I continue playing the episode selected and not the most recent one?

Thank you for your post here in the Community.

In this case we suggest that you perform a clean reinstall of the app. This will make sure there's no old cache files causing this.

If that doesn't do the trick, can you log in with another account on the device - such as a friend's or a family member's to see if the issue persist?
