RESOLVED: In the latest BMW ConnectedDrive software update (current as of feb 8. 2015)

Track titles and cover art is not displayed correctly on BMW F10 (2014) when playing through Bluetooth or the USB interface in the center console.

Symptom: Music plays and it is possible to switch tracks, but the cover art and track title is "stuck" on the first track played.

This is likely a Spotify issue, since both the built-in iPod music player and WIMP works flawlessly.

Car firmware is the latest available as of 2014-05-24. Spotify version is current as of 2014-05-24.

Phone: Apple iPhone 5S

Car: BMW F10 (2014)

Has been working for me, but not after last upgrade of Spotify.

Got to fix this now, not funny anymore.....

Where did you get the Update. On both websites, .de and .com I only see an update from last year.

I'm using the latest available version today. MN-002.255.060. And latest iOS 8.1.3. I got the update from BMW.com. It is possible that this version was released last year.

Same problem on a 2012 E90. (Not connected drive option but available over usb audio)..... Cover Art stuck on first song.

Same problem here. BMW F30 2015, music plays but title and cover art stuck on first song.

How do I fix this??

Did you upgrade to the latest firmware? If so, I don't know what the issue
is.

Do you mean firmware in the car, or Spotify app, on the phone?

I went to Settings and enabled developer options, then I set the  Bluetooth AVRCP to 1.6 and that solved the problem of not showing the metadata on my BMW F31.

My car is produced 2011, 2012 model. I dont have the ability to download the connecteddrive from bmw.com/update. IS there any ideas on how to get Tracks/artist showing from my android s6 edge+

Used my friends Iphone and it worked recently. Everything were shown. Details and artists etc.
