Reorder songs in playlist on iPad

IPAD Mini 4, newest Spotify app (updated in last few weeks - but problem has been longer).

I want to reorder songs in a playlist 'by most recent first'. At the moment, it doesn't give any option to reorder songs in a playlist, and so the 'most recent' is just added to the bottom of the playlist.

Hey @rodmanboyd,

You can do this by:

1) Go to the playlist you want to edit

2) Click the '...' in the top right

3) Click 'Edit'

4) Click and drag the songs you want to move by tapping and holding on the lines on the right of the song in the list.

Thanks, but I have a playlist of >500 songs. All I want is to reorder them
by recently added meaning the exact opposite of what Spotify has them
listed as. Your solution will work but will be far too long when the
desktop/web version of the app can do it in one click. Even a playlist of
20 songs will take a long time dragging each to the top...

Don't worry, there's a way to do that as well!

Scroll up on your iPad until you see the bar that says "Filter". Next to it is a button with three lines; click on it. After that, you should have 4 options: Custom, Title, Artist, and Recently Added. To order it by recently added, simply click on the button.

Ahhhhhhh amazing! WOW it's so hidden! It's greyed out and dark... I didn't
even notice it before.

I only got my ipad about 4 months ago and have been driven crazy by this
