Rounded corners - or not???

I just noticed that the artwork is suddenly now with rounded corners (horrible). But when I went back a few seconds later, it was back to regular corners.

What is going on?

Why can't they just leave it as normal corners... resist the urge to keep messing things around for the sake of it. Please!

PLEASE, NO ROUNDED CORNERS! Some roundness between 4 and 6 px is okay, but the industry has gone crazy with DRAMATICALLY round and hoverable everything - making UIs unbalanced and harder to use. Please stop fixing what was not broken!

Seems like the dreaded ugly rounded corners have made a comeback since yesterday on the iphone app.
Please just leave the artwork as a square! No reason to keep messing around and changing things for the sake of it...

Bring the rounded corners on! It’s about time Spotify gets a cleaner look like Apple Music it’s way more modern and slick I had it for like a day and now it’s gone?? How do I get it back?

I love the rounded corners. They just took it away in the latest update and I want it back.

how about you guys just make it so u can toggle it on and off in settings. it really makes me angry seeing these random changes made with no warning and having no way to revert back.

the rounded corners are  HORRIBLE imo. The cover artist designed the art to be a square, so don’t mess with the original vision of the artist. Plus sometimes I if want to make a collage of different album covers, I go to spotify to screenshot them, and then crop the screenshot, but i can’t do that with the rounded edges. Plus some albums are VERY clearly designed to fit in the square. Lots of album arts features squares within the art that are very clearly meant to align with the corners of the frame, rounding those corners throws off the look and fit of the album art because now the corners of the square in the art don’t fit right with the edges of the album. Leave the original art alone!!
