Spotify on iOS 2.3.0 "skipping" during playback

Ever since update to 2.3.0 I seem to have a nostalgiac mode enabled which emulates scratched CDs from my youth by 'skipping' during portions of songs that are playing. Sometimes it's a momentary pause, other times it will play the same second of a song a few times before continuing on or just jumping to the next track. Is it possible to disable this?

I've attempted restarting the app as well as power cycling my phone. I've also tried setting the streaming quality to the lowest possible settings, all to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try reinstalling the app.

So I tried a reinstall shortly after making my initial post and it helped quite a bit. The issue still persists, but only mildly; maybe once every 3-4 songs which is far more acceptible than once every 30 seconds or so. Additionally, I've noticed this only happens when streaming over cellular, so perhaps there's some issue with my cell service provider. In any case we can consider this issue closed.
