Unable to log in on iPhone 8 ( iOS 11.1.2)

Hi - just downloaded the app for my iPhone 8 (running iOS 11.1.2). The video plays in the app's background, but neither of the login "buttons" work. I tap. And nothing. So, I'm unable to login. I deleted and reinstalled. Tried it again. Same thing. Tried shutting down the phone and re-opening. Same thing. Help? 🙂
