Whatsapp sound messages stops podcast

My Question or Issue

When I use Spotify to listen to podcasts, and then play a sound message from whatsapp, the podcast doesn`t continue autoatically! I have to manually enter Spotify and press play again. Can someone help me please? I really dislike the iPhone podcast app so I would like to use Spotify instead. But this is a deal breaker for me 😞

We tried it from our end and it works as it should.

In this case we suggest that you perform a clean reinstall of the app to make sure there's no old cache files causing this.
