My Spotify stops playing when I watch a reel or any video on Facebook or Twitter which is understandable but I have to go to the app and press play again even when I’m done watching the video

What's your device model, OS version and Spotify version? Did this start happening after an app or OS update? Have you tried reinstalling the Spotify app?

Could you check if the app has permissions to run in the background? We'd also like to know if this has always happened or if it started happening after a specific event such as an update.
Additionally, does this always happen when you watch a video? Does it happen with any apps?

It use to work fine I don’t know when it started but it got my attention last week
