Why won’t Spotify let me download it to my iPhone?

I was trying to temporarily create space on my iPhone’s hard drive by deleting a few apps. Spotify was amongst them. After I completed my task, I attempted to redownload Spotify to my phone. For whatever reason, however, Spotify would only open through the App Store and does not appear as its own individual app on my home screen. I’m not sure why this is but there is no option to download it at all through the App Store, only to open it. Why has this happened and how can I resolve this issue?

hi! try: 

1. opening app store
2. going to "today" tab on the bottom left
3. click your profile in the top right
4. go to purchased 
5. not on this iphone 
6. find spotify and redownload 

hopefully this helps!! if not, then this is probably a problem for apple

worked up until "not in this iphone"...

when browsing "not in this iphone" lsit of apps, Spotify is not in the list.

...selected "all" and Spotify is there, OPEN only again, no download from cloaud logo like the other apps. 

back to "not in this iphone", still no Spotify app, even with search in "not in this iphone"

Pressing OPEN, opens app as if were on my phone, logged in and everything.
