iPhone Not Syncing Local Files

I have a handful of songs that aren't available on Spotify that I have in iTunes playlist, yet when I sync my playlist to Spotify (using a laptop with Windows 10), they show up but the artist and album are greyed out. I can still play them, however I cannot get them to sync onto my iPhone. I've looked through other similar threads, however I'm not very tech savvy and don't understand a lot of the solutions.

You need to put Local Files in playlists in the Desktop app, and synch them to your phone. FAQ details the process.
