songs/albums ID can be change?

songs/albums ID can be change?

not sure if this only IOS/MAC bug/issue but i notice already about few years back songs / albums i liked over the years the ID might be changed and if i going to check the artist again it's shows like i never liked this song/album.

 

somone elease notice to this?

Thanks for reaching out. 

 

If the behaviour is consistent across all your devices, then the issue must be from the content itself. 

 

There could be many reasons for this being the case, the most likely being that a song was removed and then a different version of it was reuploaded onto the platform. If the song is uploaded again as a new listing instead of the old one being reactivated, this can result in the song no longer appearing as liked or not being replaced in playlists.

Thank you for keeping in contact.

 

When a song is removed from the platform and reuploaded, the metadata received by the system is different from the existing one as it's a "new" or "updated" upload. So, since the track has different metadata, it's not possible for the app to recognize it as the exact same song to realign it on your library.

Hope this clarifies things a bit. If anything else comes up, the Community is just a post away!

ok it's sound right, but why the system not see that this song was already in my library and align it back?
