Account location accidently set Switzerland...

Account location accidently set Switzerland...

Hi,

 

I'm from Turkey. I joined the Spotify for the first time while my browser based proxy Zenmate was on. The virtual location was set for Switzerland. So naturally Spotify thought i'm from Switzerland. I didn't mind it at all in the beginning because i could change the language and all. 

 

But then i saw that i can't change my location as if it is permanent. This is very bad because now i can't switch to Premium. Spotify says i should use credit cards or PayPal accounts located in Switzerland... 

 

I tried to contact any Spotify officials but couldn't find any way. How can i solve this problem?

You should be able to change your country on this page. You might need to log out of spotify completely first then back in (making sure that the proxy is disabled).

I did as you say and now it seems i'm from Turkey. But i still get the same error: "We are sorry, we couldn't process your payment. The reason is your credit card or paypal account could be registered in different country than you choose in Spotify. If problem persists please try again or contact customer support."

Getting closer then 🙂
