Add the ability to delete recently listened music from your profile when hacked

Add the ability to delete recently listened music from your profile when hacked

So, my Spotify account was hacked as I kept waking up to completely random (and terrible) music on my 'Recently played artists' that I had never listened to.

I messaged with Live chat who said they secured my account. Then changed my password for Spotify, my email address used to access it and hopefully that will fix the issue.

However, I still have to look at all of the dreadful music the hacker listened to on my account and worry that it has skewed my algorithm into recommending me similar artists.

Spotify REALLY need to implement the ability to delete the artists from your profile in cases like this, or at least give the live chat support the ability to do so. Music is a very personal thing and having a hackers awful music taste displayed on my profile and changing my algorithm feels pretty gross and heinous.

Hey @CliffBonanza ,

Thanks for coming to the Community.

Unfortunately, there's currently no way to delete the listening history, but I recommend adding your VOTE to the following idea: https://community.spotify.com/t5/Live-Ideas/All-Platforms-Your-Library-Delete-Songs-from-Account-His.... 🙂

I hope this clears things up!
