My Question or Issue

A few months ago Ii tried to install spotify with dekstop installer, but I had a problem with the firewall of the antivirus, i tried to turn it off and loggin, but it keeps saying that the firewall is on. I kept trying to log in but, it seems that my account is blocked.

Today I tried to use the web version, and i still can't log in. When I enter my e-mail there's a text that say "This email is already connected to an account" and when I try to reset the password the text say "The username or email you provided is not associated with an active Spotify account."
This is controversial, I think you blocked my account because i did too many attempts when I had the problem with firewall.

Could you please give me a help, it'll be very grateful, the email associated with the account is: **bleep**

Same problem here. Can't login and can't reset password either. Email address is active and valid. Spotify claims that the email address is either wrong (when trying to login), unknown (when trying to reset password) or already used (when trying to register). No second email address available, also I don't want to lose all my playlists and subscriptions when creating a new account.

 

Please, reactivate my account!!

If you remember your username, can you try to log in with that and see what happens?

it happens with multiple devices (Android, PC). Username login doesn't work, same error as with email address login. Still stuck.

I'm also experiencing the same error. When I come to login it says my email or password s incorrect, so I click "forgot password" but then it says that an account with that email does not exist. So I go to sign up with that email but it says that their is already a Spotify account linked with that email??

Hello, there is an issue where when I try to log in spotify using email address, it says that the password is wrong. When I tried to reset my password, it said that the email address is NOT LINKED to a spotify account. However, when I tried to sign up a account using the same email, it said that the address is already LINKED to an existing account.


Any idea how can I fix this issue? Because I've been using that email to use spotify for a while and this issue suddenly happened, I'm not sure what can I do to allow me to re-log in my spotify account.

Thanks to the price increase it seems that Spotify deleted my Duo partner from my main account.  Now he tries to login and it says his password is wrong AND that his account does not exist - it loops between those two things.  I need someone to get us into his account (you can't even ask for support without an account).  Nothing works. 

 

Again, we tried all the steps in the accounts page.  It both tells him he can't update his password because the account doesn't exist AND that the password is incorrect.

In this situation, I am encountering an issue with my Spotify account. I created my Spotify account a long time ago, and I recently decided to change my password but realized I forgot it. Now, I can't update my password.

When I went to Spotify's password reset page, it required me to input the email associated with my Spotify account to reset the password. However, the email address linked to my Spotify account is non-existent. I have no idea how this happened, as I have never owned such an email address like that.

Since it wasn't working, I tried entering the same email address shown on my Spotify account, but the system responded that no such email exists. Could you help me reset my password and email?

when i try to login in it i was asked to sign in again so i made one account which i have deleted now please help to get my old account because i am not getting experience which i was getting in my old account please  and old account username is *** which i 

got from old login link please connect my old account to email mentioned above.

It looks like the account has been deleted:
- can't log in
- can't reset password
- can't register a new account (Spotify says "This address is already linked to an existing account. To continue, log in.")

Podcasts that were created are also no longer available.

Customer Support solved my issues. 
"we've made some backend changes and enabled the account, could you please try to login and check if it works?"

my husband has had Spotify for about two weeks. I set it up for him through my Family premium plan. He had his email address and password two days after I set it up for him. He had to login without a password because it knocked him off. We used it all the way to Florida when we were traveling by car he had it Wednesday, listening to it at work Thursday. He can tried to log on because he couldn’t get it to work and it says it’s not the correct email address. How do I fix this?

Thanks for joining the thread! 
By logging in without a password, was he logging in via an email link or was he using some other type of login method like e.g. Google or Facebook?
I'm also curious why he has to log in seemingly every time. Does he get logged out for some reason?

I'd recommend using these steps to doublecheck their email address from your plan settings. In case the issues continue to persist, you can let him know to reach out to our support folks via the link mentioned in my previous reply here. They'd be able to check if anything odd is going on with his account backstage 🙂

Die Mail Adresse meines Sohnes ist registriert (keine Registrierung möglich), er kann sich aber nicht anmelden, da die Adresse nicht mit einem Konto verknüpft ist. Es geht also weder vor noch zurück.

My Question or Issue

We converted to a family plan a couple of weeks back, consisting of 4 accounts.

 

Three accounts, the OG and two added accounts, fine, no issues. The 4th account has disappeared off the family plan.

 

And that person (my son) cannot get back into his spotify at all.

 

He inputs email and password, the following message pops up. "This email or username is not linked to a spotify account"

 

Fine, you send a new family invitation (or try a password reset) , and start the process again using the email (supposedly not linked to an account) and then getthe message "This address is already linked to an existing account. To continue, log in".

 

Now, I'm a luddite and this confuses me, I seem to be going around in circles. I'm sure there is something I am missing, thanks in advance
