Can't update payment method

I had the spotify premium student discount option and then my associated card on my account had to be destroyed due to fraud.  Before I could update my payment options with a new card - I graduated college.  Now i am no longer eligible for the student discount but when I go to input my new card number and update my payment details, it won't save them because it says i'm not a student.  Do i need to cancel my entire subscription and switch to the normal premium price somehow?

you'll need to cancel your subscription and then re-subscribe to the normal Spotify Premium price.
