Charged for a free account. Account Overdrawn.

I've been charged on my account, for 9.99. and in the subscription panel, it says my account is free. I've done the contact form process 4 times now and I fill out the proof you guys require to close the account. but THE ACCOUNT IS STILL OPEN!!!????!! Why??

Can you please help me. First of all, I have bank statement proving my account was overdrawn because of this unnecessary charge and now my

First of all, I have bank statement proving my account was overdrawn because of this unnecessary charge and now my account is -54. I need re-reimbursement for the withdrawal charge.

and need my account shut down ASAP.

Such a trap seriously, can't close accounts can't cancel subscription and illegal payments? what is this suppose to be?

Hey @user-removed,

 

It sounds like you've got a second account with Spotify. Are there any other email addresses you could have used to register with Spotify? It's worth checking those inboxes to see if you have any Spotify emails -- that will mean your extra account is registered with that email.

 

  • If you don't have another email address, note how you log into the Spotify app usually.
  • If you use your Facebook details try entering your Spotify username (if you created one originally).
  • If you use your Spotify username try entering just your email address.

your right I did have another account, but that account also says free subscription. No receipts are in that account either.
This is frustrating, really.is there any way to contact Spotify by phone. things would be much simpler instead of this contact form nonsense which seems like no one is replying to or being taken into action. I've seen other posts about this and how other people have the same problem and have no solution either.

If you think that you don't have a Spotify Premium account, please get in touch with Spotify Support through one of the channels below. Unfortunately, Spotify does not offer customer support over the Phone.

If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the Knowledgebase or the Spotify Community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address. Spotify Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.
