I recently enrolled in college and after being a premium subscriber for a little over a year I attempted to subscibe using the student discount. My credit card was charged the $4.99 yet Spotify said my student status was unable to be verified.
I am now out the $4.99 and am without Spotify premium. I have followed all the support and FAQ steps only to be brushed off in the clearly automated responses below:

I then contacted the Spotify support via Twitter and received the following message asking for more information:
Hi, we can help you out here in Twitter! Can you fire over your account's email address or username? Can you also send us any email receipts or Order Numbers you received? /NC
I provided the information and still have not received a proper response to my issue. Spotify has taken payment and I am still without a premium subscription.

I even took to twitter as the email suggested only to receive another brush off. I don't know what to do at this point. Arguing over $5 seems admittedly petty from my own perspective but Spotify has basically ripped me off and rendered no service. I've been a paying customer for a year now and this lack of customer service is pretty appalling. All attemps I have made to contact customer service directly(3) have been brushed off or ignored.
