Denied refund for 2 years' worth of overcharging.

Denied refund for 2 years' worth of overcharging.

In May this year, I realised I was being charged twice every month for my one Premium account - once direct to Spotify and once through iTunes.

 

I have spoken to Spotify who say they can do nothing as the payments went to iTunes. iTunes say they can do nothing either.

 

The double charges began when my account was hacked in 2017.

 

I am owed hundreds of pounds.

Thanks for reaching out to us in the Community about this! We're sorry to hear about this unfortunate situation.

If both charges had been through Spotify, then we would have been able to refund you for the time you had been charged twice for Premium.

 

However, since one of those bills was through iTunes, unfortunately we won't be able to refund you.

 

We hope that clarifies things. Sorry we can't do anything more on our end ;(
