Facebook change/hacked

My facebook recently took a big hit and I the only real option is to make a new one, is there anyway to unlink my FAcebook account to my spotify account?  I want to continue to use spotify services but I can not sign in when my facebook is deactivated.  It's pretty unreasonable if there is no solution to this as a paying customer.

If your account was created via Facebook, you will need a new account. If you get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form they can lend a hand to get you set up and move your content over for you. 

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

For future references, if I sign up with an account directly through spotify and not through Facebook but later link my Facebook, will this problem be avoided and I would be able to simply unlink the Facebook at any point and time?
