Facebook profile picture and name not showing on Spotify profile

My Question or Issue

I am trying to connect my Facebook to my Spotify account, and although it gets connected and lets me log into the account with Facebook, my display name isn't my Facebook name and the profile picture isn't showing. Also, I cannot see my Facebook friends in the Friends tab on the side. I have tried disconnecting Spotify from Facebook, and removed Facebook as a login method, but nothing works. 

I used to have Facebook connected, but then I cleaned up my profile and managed to disconnect it from Spotify. I had my profile picture, my display name, and the See Friends from Facebook option, where I could follow my Facebook friends from Spotify. However, all of that is gone now. Basically, Facebook is only used as a login option and nothing else.

Anyone have any tips? I have tried logging in and out, I have disconnected Facebook from Spotify on both ends (from Facebook settings, and Spotify settings). Process my Facebook data is also enabled on Account Privacy settings. Also cleared cookies and cache, and tried connecting using multiple browsers.

I understand you want to sync your Spotify profile picture and your name with Facebook.
To get this working, you must add Facebook as a login method.
Then, you will need to go to your Account Overview.

Under Security and privacy, click on Account privacy.

At this page, switch on the Process my Facebook data toggle under Facebook data.
Edit: I read you already have tried the above steps, but maybe it takes time to process.

I also understand you want to import your Facebook friends into Spotify.
Sadly, this feature does not exist anymore.
You can still search for their display names and follow them manually, or share profile links with each other.
