Family Plan, my ex-wife is the Plan Manager but i have been playing for Spotify for years.

Solved!

Family Plan, my ex-wife is the Plan Manager but i have been playing for Spotify for years.

Plan

Free/Premium

Country

Device

(iPhone 8, Samsung Galaxy 9, Macbook Pro late 2016)

Operating System

(iOS 10, Android Oreo, Windows 10,etc.)

My Question or Issue

How can I leave the plan? Then cancel it, as I am not the plan manager but I just found out I have been paying for it for years.

Can i just remove myself from the plan and then cancel payment via paypal?

I don't want to loose my account but I need this cancelled because I am paying for her Spotify!!!

Hey @NicRau,

Thanks for coming to the Community.

You can "cancel" your membership via the cancellation process for a paid subscription with the difference, that the cancellation of your membership in a Premium Family plan has an instantaneous effect. More info on how to do that can be found here.

This, of course, does not affect the Premium Family plan itself, but only your membership in it.

If your payment method is being used to pay for the subscription without your authorization, feel free to reach out to Support here.

Hope this helps 🙂
