How do I make my profile public so that anyone can see my playlists?

My Question or Issue

I would like to make my profile public so that anyone can search for my profile name and see my public playlists.  My profile name is "Art Gnuvo" but when I do a search for that name I get "No results found"  When I search or a friends profile, "rjs2184", his profile pops right up along with his 34 public playlists.  I have checked my settings and as best I can tell, they are the same as his.  Why does his profile show up in the search but not mine?

Not all profiles show up in Search right away, it depends on many factors such as the follower count.

Unfortunately that article does not appear to address the problem at hand - How to enable my profile to show up in search results when other users try to find it.

There's no way to 'enable' this. As mentioned previously, it depends on many factors such as the follower count.

@Sophie66, there's no way to speed up the process, so no need to take any extra steps. Your profile will eventually appear in the search results.

@souless_, the setting Show your follower and following list on your profile should still be available in the Privacy & Social tab in Settings on both the desktop and mobile apps. If you don't see it on one device, simply try a different one.

Welcome to the Spotify Community!

If you're on social media, you can share the link to your Spotify profile there, or perhaps even connect your account to Facebook: your Facebook friends who also use Spotify will show up in the Friend Activity.

As for the search results on the platform, note that not all profiles/playlists are indexed, I'm afraid. There are multiple factors that come to play in order for a playlist or profile to show up in Search such as popularity, number of followers, uniqueness of name, etc. This post goes more in depth on the topic, feel free to check it out if you're interested.

I have a pretty similar problem. I don't know if my profile is even public or able to be found unless someone specifically had my username which is basically is a bunch of letters and numbers and if I manually type my name "Abby A" a million others come up. Also when I view my public profile I apparently only have 6 playlist and following only 1 person when I'm following a bit more.. there's also no recent activity meanwhile I'm using Spotify everyday.. I know I'm invisible but at least give me a complete profile Spotify 😔🤣, ☠️..
