How to stop "Listen Along"

My Question or Issue

This is so damn annoying, for the past hour I've been trying to figure out how to kick/close this "Listen Along" stuff, nothing works.

Only thing that does 'solve' the problem is disabling the activity on Spotify, but then when I enable it again the "Listen Along" also returns and my friend's song changes to what I'm listening to again.

I searched up only to find a thread here from two years ago, its really so annoying.

Welcome to the Spotify Community!

You're referring to the Spotify & Discord Listen Along feature, correct? If that's the case, try the following to see if that helps:

1. Open Discord and go to Settings > Connections.
2. Locate Spotify and toggle off Display on profile, as well as Display Spotify as your status.
