I can't log in?

I can't log in?

Description
I can't log in due to some error

A more detailed description, using numbered steps

1. At first I was in Spotify, and all of the sudden I couldn't listen to music because it couldn't connect (error 101)

2. I closed out of it, opening it up it wouldn't even let me log in saying there was a problem with my internet or firewall (which there wasn't)

3. I've restarted my computer and reinstalled Spotify several times- still nothing

What I expected to happen

I could log in and listen to music

What actually happened

Well not that basically

My Operating System

Windows 7 Home Premium

Is your Operating System 32 or 64 bit?

64 bit

Do you have a Service Pack installed?

Doesn't say, but I doubt it?

My Spotify version

The latest probably

My internet provider and country

Time Warner (I believe), USA

Did you do a clean install of your current Windows version or did you upgrade from a previous version?

Bought it like this

Do you have any screenshots you can attach to more clearly explain your issue?

Hey there @Inkskinned, welcome to the community! Are you able to login via the web player? Have you recentally installed any new antivirus/firewall programs?

If your case is resolved, please click the 'Accept as Solution' button and add your kudos!

Thanks! Yes, the web player works well enough , and no I don't recall doing so.

Interesting. Click on that link on the client that says "Additionally you could try to change the currently used proxy settings." and make sure those fields are blank, unless if you are using a proxy. If you have any antivirus/firewall programs tried disabling them temporarily to see if that's the problem.
