I got locked out of my account

I got locked out of my account

Yesterday, when I opened the app on my phone, expecting to see my usual home screen, and instead, I was met with a log in screen. I tried to connect with 2 different email I have used in the past, but it just sent me to different accounts every time. I tried resetting the password and it did the same. I tried to connect using my username, but it said that the username is not valid since I have the " 🙂 " character in it.  I had that account for a very long time and its very important to me. I would love some help on this, please.

It’s likely your display name contains “🙂”, but your actual username probably doesn’t.

 

Are you on Free or Premium? If you’re on Premium, you can check your email receipts from Spotify to find your username.
