I have listener and artist profile: how can I delete the listener one ?

Hi,

As an artist, I have my artist profile on Spotify for Artists.

With the same e-mail address, I have also the listener profile, but I don't need it.

How can I delete the listener profile ?

Is it possible to delete it and have only the artist one ?

Welcome to the Spotify Community!

Your artist profile is technically tied to your regular (i.e. "listener") Spotify account, so I would strongly advise against closing it. The regular account is actually what's being used to log you in to Spotify for Artists. You can also create playlists through it which you can later feature on your artist profile.

💡Tip:

Fans can follow both your artist profile and your regular account, so make sure you've copied the appropriate link when sharing from Spotify.

Ok Yordan, so it's not possible to have only the regular Spotify account. Is it ?

Because I honestly don't like the fact that I have two different point where a person could press the Follow button.

Sadly because of the log in process, this is how things currently work and there isn't really a way to "unlink" an artist account from a personal/regular account. 

You could however have a separate regular/personal account without an artist account.

We understand that you'd like to keep only the artist profile and appreciate you sharing your thoughts on the topic and as we're looking for ways to improve and offer better functions, we'll forward the into on to the relevant team.
