Issue with changing country

Spotify say that in order to change country you need to change your payment.

I did that through paypal, my country is now Germany and I have a german card, yet not only my country didn’t change, I am being now charged conversion fees!

Does anyone know how to solve this? I can only think of cancelling the account completely.

I am sorry to hear and for the confusion there. I’d recommend you to cancel your subscription, wait for your account to revert to Free, and then you can update your country settings following these steps. Once you change your country, you’re able to subscribe to a new Premium plan of your choosing here.

Keep in mind that while changing your country details, please make sure that it does match the country registered with your payment method.
