Long time Premium user, can't change country or add payment method

I've been using Spotify Family Premium for over a year now. I have recently moved country where Spotify Premium is available at (Singapore). I followed the instructions at this page using my new credit card to change my country: https://support.spotify.com/sg-en/account_payment_help/account_help/how-can-i-change-my-country-sett...

 

At step 4, instead of being prompted to change country I am told I have to change my country first. I cannot change country because it is greyed out. I see so many people here having the same issue and everyone pointing them to the FAQ page above to find no one solves their problem. If anyone can give me a solution that does NOT involve the FAQ page, I would appreciate it.

I noticed you mentioned that you are on the Family plan. Unfortunately, that plan does not allow the country or an address change. It would need to be cancelled and restarted at your new address by following the steps found here and pasted below.
Hope this helps you resolve it!

 

It’s not possible to change the address registered on an existing Premium for Family plan.

If you move, or enter the wrong details, you need to create a new account (make sure you cancel the plan on your old account beforehand, and sign out everywhere) and subscribe to Premium for Family on that new account.

I completely agree. Customer Service has offered the same solution to me. For an international company like Spotify this is really poor service. Especially since you seem to able to change the country as a subscriber to Spotify Free but if you are a paying customer you have to go thorugh a complicated process.
