Set up premium service - not working still showing as FREE

Set up premium service - not working still showing as FREE

I recently went back to school so i set up a new spotify account with my school e-mail to recieve discount and canceled my premium subscription on my other account. First problem is i have two pending charges on my credit card for the premium service so they charged me twice. Second problem is i still am not getting the premium services on the new account. dont remember it taking this long to be able to use premium services. i have tried all the suggestions the FAQ section had to fix this problem and nothing has worked. Please let me know if anyone else is having a similar problem and how i can speak with someone to get this resolved. i dont even have the option to cancel the premium subscription because it says i do not have it. i am not trying to pay for a service i am not able to use! Spotify is awesome and convienient, this is the first problem i have had with the company, but this is big!

PS GET A PHONE CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTER PLEASE.

Same problem please help

Hey guys, hope I can help.

1) If you see two pending charges on your account you may not have to be concerned. If they're both at the exact same time then one is most likely a holding charge, and will be cleared once the other transaction goes through. If they weren't at the same time, but were at the same day, then you most likely clicked the subscribe button twice, and accidentally signed up for two months of premium. You can confirm this b going to your Subscription Page and confirming that the next date you will be charged for premium is greater than a month away. If that's not the case (you don't have two months of premium) or the charges were on seperate days, then you will want to get in touch with support because it means you have another account that's also being billed, and they'll be able to help sort that out. Note that if you receive an automated email directing you to the community and/or help boards, make sure you reply directly to that email (even if it is from a no reply address) and support will get back to you as soon as possible.

2) If you just subscribed and aren't getting access to premium services, then please take a look at this thread and give everything there a try. Since, @colabrem15, you said your profile isn't showing an active subscription, you will want to get in touch get in touch with support. Note that if you receive an automated email directing you to the community and/or help boards, make sure you reply directly to that email (even if it is from a no reply address) and support will get back to you as soon as possible.

@Shrewms69, let me know if any of the above don't help you, and I'll see what else I can do for you.
