My Question or Issue

I have Spotify Premium and want to set my mother up with a free account.  But because my gmail account is linked with hers for backup and other purposes, when I try to set up an account for her using her email address, Spotify opens up my Spotify account telling me that her email address is linked to my Premium account.  While I don't object overly to her having access to my playlists, I'd prefer to share them with her rather than her having direct access to them as I assume if she was listening on my account, I wouldn't be able to listen simultaneously, not to mention the possibility of her unknowingly deleting my material.  How do I overcome this please?

Users can create an account with only one email address. Currently there is no option to add an additional email address or link two email addresses in the account overview.

It's a good idea to give these steps a go and log out from your account from everywhere. Then you can try again creating a new account here.

In case you get an error message, you can send us a screenshot of it. Just make sure to hide any private or sensitive info. We'll look into this further.
