Something is seriously wrong in Spotify India

Something is seriously wrong in Spotify India

  •  I am a regular user of premium Spotify Family India plan . But this month , I extended my subscription on Aug 18 and my account got disabled and lose my premium on Aug 21 .
  • ( for the record , I don't get any emails about account getting disabled )
  • I talked with Spotify support and they said they have no information about what happened and I can't get my account and my money back .
  • ( Very shtitty support , to be honest )

At First , I thought I am the only victim. But When I speak with my classmates in school , they also faced similar problem and didn't get their account and money back . They are also very Disappointing. So I searched online and I found a lot of victims . The Same thing about all the victims is they paid on Aug 18 or 19 or 20 or 21 . All the persons who paid on that 4 days got their accounts disabled ( both family plan and individual plan ) and Spotify support didn't help  .

 

I think there's something wrong with Spotify India backend .

When I realized i can't rely on Spotify support , I searched Spotify India office and found this email address.

 

I hope someone high level from Spotify India see this post and check those things and fixed them .

I don't receive any emails about account getting disabled . Others too don't receive.

 

we logged out of our accounts and can't login back .

when we asked for password reset , it's showing " This email address or username is not linked to a Spotify account ".

Thanks for getting back to me. I mentioned disabled accounts because that is what you had mentioned in your original post. Can you let me know if you have received any emails regarding the status of your account? Can you also try resetting your password here using a different browser or private window?

Also, can you let me know if you all are part of a Family plan?

Me too, I have paid for 3 months family subscription on 11 Aug. today it changed to a free account . custmer  care took 6-8 min and said sorry for lost premium time and suggest to resubscribe then just close chat. I want my Premum time or money back!!

Hey, whoever gets deceived by Spotify, contact the bank. They will arrange a refund for you. The bank can charge back and get a refund for you. If banks do not help, contact Indian Cybercrime Online and file your complaint. Spotify India will be suspended both by the Bank and Cyberbranch. Spotify also deceived me. While my 1-year family plan was deactivated, I had 7 months left. My bank manager says he will pull back my funds 100%, but it may take time in this process.
