Student discount won't verify but I still got charged!!

I signed up for spotify premium with the student discount with a debit gift card. I tried three times but it wouldn't verify that i go to Syracuse University but when i checked my gift card balance, I was charged three times even though I never got premium. How do I actually get premium and do I get a refund for being charged?

As this is a payment related issue, I'd suggest you to get in touch with Spotify. You should also get in touch with Spotify about a refund. However, I cannot promise that you'll get a refund.
