Telling me I'm in another country

Telling me I'm in another country

when I log in its telling me I'm in another country I'm at home in the UK on my wifi I have tried to change the settings but it won't let me ! Please help !

Hey Niicol90,

 

Did you sign up in Spain?  It was still locked there.  I have now changed the account to the UK and you should be able to login.

i have the same problem. I live in Germany but my account cannot be changed vrom USA to Germany.. how did you do this?

Hi,

 

What subscription tier are you on? You can check this on your Subcriptions page. If you're on premium you need to set your payment details to the country you want to be set on your profile. If you're on free, then you should be able to change it either from your Facebook profile or from your Spotify account.

 

There is a knowledge base article on this here.

 

However, there is also an ongoing issue regarding this on this page. If you are having issues that match the description of the issue, let me know.

I have the same issue - I am unable to change the country in the profile settings and if I change it in the payment setting (I went from premium to family yesterday) it still says "france" instead of germany (see my post: https://community.spotify.com/t5/Help-Accounts-and-Subscriptions/Cannot-change-country-from-France-t...

 

any idea or would you be able to correct my account?
