Trying to change another accounts email

Trying to change another accounts email

Hi, I am writing this from my girlfriends account. I currently have Premium on an account with a deactivated email. I am trying to change it to my current email but when I put it in it says that there is another account with that email. Yet I disabled the free account that had that email over 2 weeks ago. Also I cannot contact Spotify support because of this reason, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for posting and welcome to the Spotify community.

 

Please be aware that you can use the same email address to create a new account after 14 days from the date of closing your account. Please follow the steps to closing your account and deleting your data if you haven't already.

 

If that time has already happened and you're still not able to use the same email address, I'd recommend getting in touch with Customer Support (you can find their contact link here). They can assist further with updating the email address for your Spotify account.
