Why did 3/4 of my music library get cut overnight?

Were the majority of the songs by the same artist, or on a similar album/compilation? 

Reason I ask is that sometimes products/releases get taken down by the label/distributor - if this happens they will be removed from your library/playlist until they are delivered to Spotify again!
