How do I disable "download liked albums"?

My Question or Issue

I noticed recently that spotify now automatically downloads any liked albums, which is really annoying, because there's no option to turn this off. If I go to the album and toggle "download" to off, spotify will queue up the album for download next time I connect to Wi-Fi. Additionally, it now seems that "like" and "save" are the same thing.

I would like the ability to turn this downloading off, because I want to be able to hit "like" on an album to remember it for later, without having to fill up my phone with hundreds of albums that has maybe one song I want to hear.

Like I said, toggling "download" to off doesn't help, spotify will just toggle it on for download again. The only advice I found was from 2018, it told me to go to "songs", but "songs" isn't there any more.

Turns out this must be some sort of bug, because it doesn't apply to all my liked albums. My apologies, I'll go through the trouble-shooting steps and report back if it doesn't help.
