Spotify Connect doesn't work with new app (1.10.0.113) and Pioneer vsx-528

Spotify Connect doesn't work with new app (1.10.0.113) and Pioneer vsx-528

After beeing forced to use the new Spotify app, I cannot use the Spotify Connect feature of my Pioneer vsx-528-k anymore. When I select my receiver in the list, I can see that the green speaker in the right corner is blinking and that's it. Then the receiver suddenly disappears from the list and appears again after 2-3 seconds. 

 

I tried to power off all my devices: receiver, router, Nexus 5, Nexus 7. But it's still the same issue.

 

Does anyone have any idea?

This happened to me too, I had to log out of the Spotify app then go to Android Settings > App Manager > Spotify > Force Stop. Then launch and log back in and it worked again.

Suddenly it's working again after trying it over and over again... 

Hello, I'm also having now the same issue since Sunday but for me it is still not workin (using Pioneer SC-2023). I did ALL necessary steps (e.g. app reinstall, network check etc.). Hope that someone has an idea?!

Same problem here. Spotify Connect does not work with my Yamaha R-N500 Receiver. It simply does not appear when push the small connect button in the spotify app. I tried everything. Log out, log in, reinstall... I have a iphone 6 with iOS 8.1.

Can someone help us?

Same here with Yamaha rx-v573.

It still happens to me sometimes, BUT I can normally fix it when I power cycle the receiver.
