spotify has stopped.

Solved!

spotify has stopped.

Hello everyone ! I have an issue since à week. Spotify crashes randomly on my phone with no apparent reason.

My phone : Rooted Galaxy note 3

I used foldermount to sync on my sd card

It worked fine until Last week and now spotify Just crashes randomly. I have to restart my phone to make it Work again. The thing is, when i restart my note 3, it's like spotify didn't "save" any changes and i have to sync again all the songs that i added from the first time it crashed. And all m'y deleted playlists (even not sync) are here again.

Thank you for your help !

Does the adapter have a lock switch? If so can you put the SD card in, put the lock switch up to the 'off' position and then format it while in the adapter in pc?

I tried that. Doesnt work

Try this:

Adapter Lock
Step 1
Remove the card adapter, along with the MicroSD card, from your card reader.
Step 2
Slide the locking switch to the unlocked position. If your card adapter is not labeled, the unlocked position is closest to the front of the card where the metallic contacts reside. Insert the card adapter into the reader and try again; if you still cannot write to the card, continue reading.
Step 3
Remove the card adapter again and toggle between the locked and unlocked position three times. Stay on the locked position for 30 seconds and then switch it to the unlocked position. Try the card again.

Formatting the Card
Step 1
Click "Start," right-click "Computer" and select "Manage."
Step 2
Click "Disk Management" from the Storage list on the left pane.
Step 3
Right-click your MicroSD card and select "Format." The card may not be labeled, but you can identify it from the same drive letter used in Windows Explorer.
Step 4
Click "OK" to keep default values. Click "Yes" in the confirmation dialog to format your card.

Tips
If the card adapter's lock keeps locking, the act of inserting the card into the card reader could be switching the lock back. A small piece of tape over the locking switch will prevent this from happening.

Nope. Sorry but that didnt change anything. Still protected

What file system are you getting to format it to? What if you try using the standard windows formatting, set it to fat32 and uncheck the quick format button?

It Doesnt work either. I was setting fat 32 from the beginning.

How old is the card? Might be worth seeing if you can get a replacement as it certainly sounds like all your issues are coming from this.

Odd as I use a sandisk myself

I Would say almost 2 years.
Marked as solution

Right. I think the SD card is the culprit and I also think that it's correupt and faulty.

You should contact Sandisk using the form here and provide them with all the detail of things you've tried. You could send them a link to this thread so they can see a history of what we have tried. Hopefully it should be covered by standard warranty and they'll do an RMA for you.
