3-dot menu on Now Playing View crashes iOS app

Hey folks!

We're getting reports that accessing the song menu (3-dot menu) on NPV is causing the app to crash on iOS devices. This is being looked into.

Hey folks,

We're happy to announce that this should now be fixed for everyone - just make sure you're running the latest version of Spotify.

If you're still having trouble, make sure to post a new thread in the relevant help board here.

Cheers!

Hey folks,

This should now be resolved 🙂

Make sure your apps are up to date and, in case you spot this again, try removing your cached data or performing a complete clean reinstall of the app.

Should the issue remain, let us know what your device is, alongside its OS version and your Spotify app version.
Cheers!

It still keeps crashing the app, both the 3 dot line AND the queue button. Nothing has been fixed for me. I have an iPhone 7 and my IOS is 15.8.3. My Spotify is 9.0.0.537 which is already up to date. I'm a premium user as well, I literally had to remove all my downloads in hopes for this issue to be resolved but still nothing. I have cleared my cache, clean reinstalled and restarted multiple times, I don't know what else to do. Please help!!!

I followed all your instructions but it still doesn’t work.

This is the data of the device:

Iphone 11

iOS 15.6.1

Spotify v 9.0.0

Seems to be fixed on version 9.0.2.
Small bugs like this make Spotify app totally unusable. I wish it was completely rewritten like YouTube Music app for iOS, which is fast, reliable and modern.

Hey @Shaniii@Madmak@melancholia21

@Onewave mentioned that it's fixed for them on version 9.0.2. Could you please update the app and let us know if it's fixed for you as well?

If it isn't, make sure to send us the (updated) info @Vasil asked for previously.

We'll be waiting for your replies.
