Downtime 03/03/2025: Playback issues on multiple devices

We've received reports about playback issues where the app doesn't initiate the playback. This seems to affect all platforms.

Thanks for your patience while we looked into this issue.

 

We're happy to announce that everything should now be working properly 👍

 

If you're still having issues, try restarting the app or logging out and signing back in to your account. You can also check out this article for some additional troubleshooting steps.

Same issue, it will play nothing in the browser, 2s in app on Mac (M3 chip), and about 5s on my Android phone....

Its happening to me too! Maybe it´s something else then! Seems like spotify servers might be sluggish today!

Spotify Connect is now working in Minneapolis again.

Not letting me download the app on my Xbox after I uninstalled to see if it worked that way can’t re download it
