My Question or Issue

**bleep** with «Get back on Spotify». Im already on spotify, dont need the spam.. super annoying.

I have a fairly common email address (**bleep**) so occasionally other people with the same name get confused and try to login to my accounts.

Over the last few hours, I’ve received dozens of “get back into your Spotify account” emails as someone has tried to reset my password repeatedly.

I know my account hasn’t been compromised yet, but it feels too easy to misclick and grant whoever it is access to my account. Is there a way to opt out of further password reset emails for 24 hours? There doesn’t appear to be any limits on how often logged out users are able to attempt a password reset, spamming the legitimate account holder.

Also, is there a way of enabling two-factor authentication? I don’t think I’ve used the same password anywhere else, but I’d like to avoid anyone else being able to access my Spotify account. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same issue. I’ve received ~10 of these e-mails for the last 12 hours. Very annoying!

I am also all of a sudden getting these emails, guessing a database has leaked

Hi, you have sent me 2 e-mails at 2 different times saying "welcome back to Spotify. To complete your log in, select the button below on your mobile device.... If you didn't try to log in to your account or request this email, don't worry, your email address might have been entered by mistake." I received this twice. I suggest you adjust your wording and add something to say that if this wasn't you, please visit our website to change your password because somebody else might have been attempting to hack your account. I'm sure people would worry and would feel safer that way. That's all.

I’m not sure this is flagged correctly - the issue isn’t not getting password reset emails, the issue we are being spammed with “Get back into your Spotify account” emails.

I have been receiving emails trying to steal access to my account EVERY HOUR since yestetday! I was checking on other social media and it appears that more prole have the same issue.

I am also having the same issue! ~10 emails in the last 10 hours all with the same subject: “Get back into your Spotify account”

Even worse is that Spotify only allows 2FA for artists!

My concern is that a vulnerability has been found or a database leaked!

Same here too, Logged in today and had 6 of these emails sent to me, yet I've been using spotify fine everyday and I am still logged in.
