Users from Brazil are unable to use Spotify with mobile data

Users in Brazil are reporting that they're unable to use the app with mobile data: an error message stating that they're offline is displayed, despite having stable internet connection.

Thanks for your patience while we looked into this issue.

 

We're happy to announce that this should now be fixed for everyone - just make sure you're running the latest version of Spotify.

this problem is happening since yesterday and everything works fine when I have a wi-if connection. I've already tried everything, including using a different SIM card on my cellphone, and it worked as it should. same thing with my SIM card on a different phone, so I don't think it's a problem with my mobile data provider. I've also tried connecting my account on another cellphone, and it worked, but when I logged a different account in my phone it didn't. I don't know what more to do and I need help. my phone is a RedMi 9 by Xiaomi.

O app diz estar em modo offline, entretanto eu não ativei essa opção, ja reiniciei o celular, ja atualizei o app, desinstalei e instalei novamente, ja chequei configurações do celular e ainda assim o app não funciona

Dear Spotify Support,

 

I am a regular Spotify user from Brazil, and I’ve been also experiencing issues with the app despite having a strong and reliable internet connection. Several artists and songs are not playing properly, and I’ve noticed other users here in Brazil reporting similar problems.

 

Could you please assist me in resolving this issue?

I'm from Brazil and I also have the same problem.

 

I've been a user for 7 years and I've never experienced this. I have updated versions of IOS, Windows and Spotfy, I cleared the cache, uninstalled and installed the app, and I still have the problem on my PC and on Spotfy? I would like to ask for help, please.

Hi! I'm experiencing this issue too. I'm using a Xiaomi Redmi Note 10S, MIUI Global Version 14.0.11, Android 13 TP1A.220624.014, with a Spotify version 8.9.78.513.

For the past few days, I haven't been able to use Spotify with mobile data. It works perfectly on Wi-Fi, but with mobile data, it doesn't. My data plan with Claro is active and works fine with all other apps except Spotify. I'm using a Xiaomi POCO M4 PRO 5G running Android 13, with Spotify version 8.9.78.513. I've already uninstalled and reinstalled the app, cleared data and cache, but nothing has fixed the issue.

  1. Hi, i'm struggling with this issue for a week at least. My mobile data works normaly in other apps, but, Spotify keeps saying that i'm offline.
  2. I'm using a POCO M3 PRO 5G MIUI 14.0.6, with the Spotify 8.9.78.513
  3. I've allready tried unnistalling the app, o checked my config, reseting my phone, and nothing resolves my problem
