"Something went wrong" error on desktop app and web player for Turkish users

We're receiving reports from users in Turkey that they’re encountering an error on the desktop app and web player.

Thanks for your patience while we looked into this issue.

We’re happy to say that this should now be fixed for everyone! Just make sure you're not using a VPN and your app is updated to the latest version.

Такая же проблема, не могу нормально слушать музыку. Также работает и на веб-странице. Переустанавливал и очищал кэш, выходил со всех сеансов с аккаунта и все равно не помогло. Когда получается переключится быстро на другой раздел, то все остальные разделы работают. А так нет.

Hey everyone I am also in trouble with this "Something went wrong" error on my windows PC and I tried clean installing, installing from Microsoft Store, installing from Spotify website everything I can think of and still have the same error. I cant go to my settings playlists or anything . This thing doesnt appear and limit my use on mobile app so I think it is Windows only I hope you guys can help me asap. Thanks already.

I've got the same problem.

In web and in widows app I can see my playlist on the left bar. I can click play button on playlist and listen it. But in the middle, on the main block it shows me "something went wrong...". So I can't see track list, I cant see artist or albums pages and so on. Btw it looks like there is no problem in android app with the same account

My Question or Issue

After I logged in to my account, the homepage turned into this, and so far, I haven't found a way to fix it. I've reset the host file and the network, but for some reason, I'm still getting the same problem.

 

On my phone, it seems to work just fine, but the App and the web browser (Firefox) share the same screen.

 

The weird thing is I can still play the songs.

Having the same issue this morning on Desktop app for Mac. I tried every solution I could find here and elsewhere, nothing is working. So frustrating.

The same thing is happening to me now in the windows app.
I can play songs, switch to the next song and see the now playing section but there is nothing but the something went wrong error in the middle.
Web version seems to work though, really infuriating.

Same for me too. It just doesn't load the pages (home, library, search, lyrics etc.) but plays the song and their videos...

My Question or Issue

Hello everyone! Recently got some issue that i cant do any thing on app, but just listen to music. I see my library on the left, but the main page says "Something went wrong".

 

And here somehing strange.

I've logged in on my PC (windows) using different account, and everything works.

And then happend a stranger thing, I've tried using different OS on the same PC (Ubuntu linux) and spotify app has been working perfectly fine, with or without VPN.

This is the same network, the same VPN the same account, everything is the same, but OS. 

I've tried to reset network adapter settings, clean reinstall app on windows, didnt help.

Any suggestions why exatly windows app doesnt work with my account?
