My Question or Issue

I'm seeing an issue where I am unable to add a track to a playlist on spotify web player. I right click, then try to add to playlist and am met with just a blank black screen. I have cleared browing history, cookies, etc and tried on Chrome and Edge but the error is the same.

We are aware of an issue with the Webplayer and are currently investigating it. Feel free to contribute in this topic where we gather information from affected users and keep everybody up-to-date. Hello People

 

I tried following "try after clearing your browser's cache and cookies memory" but without any result.

I am using Chrome Browser and Windows 10. I tried also Edge and Firefox.

Same issue. My playlist doesn't appear, when I will add a Song.

Please fix this, because its very annoying 😅

And here we are...5 years later, and now I am unable to add songs to a playlist.  When I select "add to playlist", I get 3 playlist choices...I guess the problem is still being worked on?  I did delete cookies and clear the cache.  I restarted...and still unable to add songs to a playlist 😞

Thanks for reaching out! Your issue seems isolated from what we've linked to last time as that issue has long been resolved. Let's do some digging and see if we can get to the root cause of what's happening on your end 🙂
 

Does the same issue persist for you on multiple browsers? If yes, we'd also like to know if the Web Player displays this limited amount of playlists for other accounts as well. You can either have someone else log in to Spotify in your browser or you can alternatively create a new free account for testing purposes.

 

Lastly, we'd also like to see a screenshot of your desktop app when you're attempting to add a song to your playlists vs. a screenshot of how this looks like on the Web Player.
